In addition to her work with Illyria Theatre Company, Lacy is a professional actor, director, choreographer, and assistant professor. She teaches acting, voice & movement, clown, and devised theatre at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. Lacy has acted, choreographed, and directed both regionally and nationally, including the White Horse Theatre Company (NY), Strange Sun Theatre Company (NY), John W. Engeman Theatre (NY), Mile Square Theatre Company (NJ), Lyric Repertory Company (UT), Arkansas Repertory Theatre (AR), and Maine State Music Theatre (ME), among others. She has also worked with Daily Fiber Films. She received her MFA in Acting from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts. Lacy has over 20 years of dance training, including but not limited to tap, jazz, musical theatre, and clogging. She taught dance for over 10 years to children and adults of all ages and her choreography has won numerous awards and received recognition at both the regional and national levels. Lacy is a member of AEA.
